Elder Cohousing Groups in Formation

Since we created the Elder Cohousing Network in July 2004, individuals from all 50 states have been adding themselves to our national database and indicating in what areas of the country they wish to live. We now have almost 3,500 people in the database, and can identify locations where clusters of people or developers with properties are emerging.

Below are the cities around the nation where a significant number of people are having conversations or are in the early planning stages of creating an intentional elder-focused neighborhood for "aging in community."

If you are interested in learning more about any of these locations, please let us know. We would also like to hear from you if you are aware of any other cities in the U.S. where Elder Cohousing projects are underway. Thank you.
