| Elder Cohousing in North Texas - A growing group of Texas residents are meeting regularly as they plan their 20-25 household cohousing community for active adults in the South Dallas area. The group is being led by Community Facilitator Janet Martinique as part of an educational initiative sponsored by the North Texas Association of Unitarian Universalist Societies (NTAUUS). The group is currently evaluating possible sites for their project and meets on the first Saturday and Third Sunday of the month for alternating social events and community meetings at the UU Church of Oak Cliff, TX. Elder Family in the Smoky Mountains - Whittier, NC (near Cherokee and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park) is looking for more family members to share ownership in an expanding project of group homes with private and shared space. The site consists of 8 acres of land within a larger 80 acre community, including 7 acres of common land and group facilities. |

Elder Cohousing at Prospect - Longmont, CO is a 25-30 household elder cohousing community for active adults that will be located in the New Urbanist neighborhood Prospect New Town, about 10 miles from Boulder, CO and 30 miles from Denver. Oshara Village Commons - Santa Fe, NM
This 20-household Elder Cohousing community will be adjacent to a 30-home multi-generational cohousing community on approx 12 acres with 50% preserved as open space. Catholic Elder Community
- St. Petersburg, FL
This is a group of older adults committed to spiritual growth within the Catholic faith tradition. Their vision is the development of residential, participatory membership communities of mutual support and later-life spirituality based on the ElderSpirit Community® model. While one might “retire” from employment, Catholics never retire from their baptismal call to serve others. Community members, to the best of their ability, participate in parish life and assist social service organizations. Community in The Cities - St. Paul, MN. The mission statement of this forming group of older adults is to "be a community for people who want to live simply among friends rather than extravagantly among strangers.” The group welcomes

| ElderGrace - Santa Fe, NM - This community has aquired a 3.5 acre property which will be developed by the Santa Fe Community Housing Trust. They are a Jubilados-inspired conscious-aging elder cohousing development whose members dedicate themselves to spiritual growth, mutual support, respect for the environment and service to others.
